My twin sister and I have been wearing FOODPLAY’s Fruit and Veggie tracker bands to keep track of how many servings of fruits and veggies we eat each day. In the morning we put five bands on our left wrist, and each time we eat a fruit or veggie we get to move a band to our right wrist.
The other day I decided to give myself an extra challenge, and I started off the day with EIGHT tracker bands on my left wrist. Well guess what – by bedtime ALL EIGHT BANDS were on my right wrist because that was how many servings I’d had!
All day long I was careful to think about what I was eating, and instead of grabbing granola bars or cookies or chips, I ate things like: strawberries, a banana, carrots, all-natural dried fruit, and a huge salad at dinner that my mom said was at least three servings.
I was so proud and excited that I had to write and tell you about it! Thanks for sharing all that you’re learning about with me. I love reading letters from you!
