We’re all about making good food – fun for kids, but what to do about Halloween?
If you’re looking for something to hand out to young ghosts and goblins, and want to distribute a treat that is actually good for them, check out some of our favorites below:
1. FoodPlay Tickets to Fresh Adventure: Snack recipe cards kids can collect!
Print them in color on cardstock, cut them up, and have kids pick a card or two for their treat. Or if you’re having a party, print them in black and white, and have kids color them, cut them, and bind with a pipe cleaner or key ring to make their own set of fun recipe cards.
1. Ghost Cheese Sticks: Draw a ghost face on a packaged cheese stick
2. Halloween Pinata: Make out of toilet paper roll and fill with knick knacks
3. Halloween Origami: Make a Halloween version of this fun game
4. Mini-Pumpkins: Draw Pumpkin face on snack packs of fruit
5. Bead Kits: Make a kit with string and beads for kids to make jewelry. (Note: choking hazard for young children)
