With kids at home, what a great time to have fun in the kitchen making healthy snacks that are easy to prepare and delicious to eat!
We’re happy to share with you our “Tickets to Fresh Adventures!”- snack recipe cards using fruits and veggies! Just print out the pages either in color or in black and white (if b/w, kids can color them in), and create your own little snack recipe booklet. Cut out the cards, then punch a hole in the top left corner, tie them together with a ribbon, pipe cleaner, or key ring, or put them in an envelope and keep them on or near the fridge.

Have kids choose a Ticket for a snack they’d like to make or have one day of the week where it’s “Fresh Adventure Day”, so they can look forward to having fun in the kitchen every week. And, see if you can, buy fresh – especially fruits and veggies that are in season, they’ll taste better and have more nutrients too! Snacks like these that you can make at home are always more nutritious than what you can buy at the corner store!
