The holidays are busy, but they allow us some downtime here at FOODPLAY. Coach, Johnny and Janey have been on the road all fall, and now they get to return home and reconnect with friends and families. We look at these weeks as a chance for renewal before we start touring again in January – and it can be the same for all of you!
Here are some resolution suggestions for healthy living in the New Year…choose one, two or all five.
1. Donate WHOA foods leftover from the holidays to a local community center or civic organization to share with their service population.
2. Stick to shopping lists when grocery shopping – this helps keep your budget as fit and trim as your body.
3. Resolve to eat at least five servings of Fruits and Veggies daily (easier still when you use our Tracker Bands!)
4. Drink water all day. When the temperature drops, it’s easy to forget this and become dehydrated.
5. Give yourself a few moments of free time daily. Whether it’s a bubble bath, some quiet meditation, or playing chase with a puppy, your mind and spirit will thank you.
